Where to have coffee in London
For me, one of the most important parts of exploring a new place is knowing where to stop for a great coffee on the way. I love to research and find some of the most popular coffee shops in each area but also some up and coming, local favourites. I've decided to start sharing my experiences to help save you some time in finding your next caffeine fix!
So, if coffee is your thing, this is the first stop on our list of where to have coffee in London.
Omotesando Koffee is a minimal escape from the hustle of oxford street. The simple approach they take is a breath of fresh air. They show that truly great coffee doesn’t need anything else added.
In their words...
“With only a few other items on offer, the coffee needs to be good.”
It’s safe to say, it’s more than good. Care and attention is clearly on show as they prepare your cup. The baristas work in lab coats and fresh coffee is displayed in test tubes on the counter of their unique brewing cube. Making good coffee is a science, a science they seem to have perfected.
With a wave of new coffee shops popping up around London, Omotesando Koffee definitely stands out from the crowd.
P.S. The Ethiopian drip coffee I ordered tasted as delicious as it smelled, overflowing with floral notes. They regularly introduce new lots to the menu so be sure to ask what they have on offer when you visit.
