We just announced the new season of Huper and are very excited to share the first volume of the launch.

To complement the new name and direction, we wanted to do a refresh of the general design and style of the brand. From the website to the products and packaging. Though the changes may be quite subtle, they refine and improve on the last few years of work. It was important for us to not stray from our existing direction, but rather build upon it as the foundation of the Huper brand.
We wanted to create clean and minimal space that could act as a gallery for the new products and photos that are within it. Galleries are bright, white and spacious. They let the art do the talking. Our use of design, illustration, and typography will help accentuate the key elements of Huper in the same way. Photography, specifically, is the foundation of what we do, and so will remain as the main focal point of the new brand.

The New Logo
Logos are marks of identity designed to be easily recognised and associated with a brand. They are part of a range of elements that create a brand. The logo becomes the focal point and is often is the first thing people see. An eye-catching logo is key for the brand to be accepted.
We wanted the name Huper to be the first and last thing people recognise and remember. The meaning and value behind the name is at the centre of all we do, so we want the word to be focal point rather than a symbol or abstract element. Keeping it simple also allows us to develop and build upon the design in the future, without feeling like we’re stepping too far from an original concept.
We will be using both the word mark by itself and within a circle. We put together a small booklet that explains why and how we’ll be using the brand in more detail, coming soon.

New Monthly Newsletter
We also redesigned our newsletter. We’ll be sending out full updates with each new Volume. Subscribe to be the first to hear about all Huper related news, including early product releases and exclusive subscriber resources.
We’ll be choosing a handful of projects to be the focus of each new Volume. The Season 1 | Volume 1 projects are as follows:
Huper Travel is where you can read the stories behind the photos, plan your own trips with our in-depth travel guides, or follow our adventures into the world of coffee. In Volume 1 we are working on adding new Travel Guides, as well as reaching out to potential new partners and sponsors. We also want to improve the general look and feel of this part of the site, making it easier to navigate and explore what you’re interested in. If you have any thoughts or ideas for what we can do with Huper Travel, let us know!
A collection of travel essentials, designed to complement your everyday adventures. Huper Essentials is a brand new project and we have lots of cool plans and ideas in the pipeline. Each essentials product we launch will be a limited run, giving us the flexibility to launch new products often and give lasting value to every supporter and customer.

Huper Classic tee
Reducing decisions from our day to day lives can help reduce stress and anxiety and improve our productivity. You might have heard this sort of thing before. I read that Mark Zuckerberg has a wardrobe full of exactly one style of jeans and t-shirt. With this, he removes small decisions like, ‘what on earth am I going to wear today!?’, to leave more space and energy to focus on big decisions.
It is interesting to look back over the day and see what actually takes up our energy. We can become anxious and annoyed before we even leave the house, just from deciding what what we should wear that day.
Packing for a trip can be very much the same. How do you decide what to take in that tiny suitcase from a wardrobe full of clothes!? I think it’s especially true when it comes to tees. I only discover quite how many I have when I need to choose the ones I want to travel with. I’m always on the lookout for things that are simple and go with everything in an attempt to ease this problem. But, it’s not always easy to find something simple and affordable that is also made to last. That’s why we designed the Huper Classic Tee.

Huper Postcard Packs
One of our favourite parts about going on a new adventure, is bringing something home that reminds us of the trip. For the last few years we’ve collected everything; from our boarding passes to a shelf full of snow globes from all over the world! We have a travel box that has the tickets, maps, and countless souvenirs from every trip we’ve ever been on.
Among this pile of special memories sits one of our favourite collectibles, postcards.
Postcards may have been around for over a century (according to Google), but we think they’re still just as relevant today! Whether you want to use them traditionally to send a note to a friend, or just collect them as a visual reminder of the beautiful places you’ve been (or want to go), postcards are one of the best souvenirs and gifts you can find.
That’s why we decided to create our own as the first souvenir at Huper Essentials. We chose three photos, from three of our favourite places, and printed them on silky, soft touch, 350gsm card. These are postcards you’re going to want to keep all for yourself!

Huper Photos is our royalty-free photo marketplace. You can view and download every photo captured during our adventures around the world. This is where it all started and is going to be a big part of where we’re going.
All images are available to license royalty-free and include global usage rights and affordable pricing starting from just £1.
In Volume 1 we want to continue to grow the quality and number of collections available. We also want to improve the photos tags to help you find what you’re looking for.

Charity: water has been an inspiration to us for many years. Since we launched More Than Just Photos we have donated 10% of every sale to the charity.
